Hi all!

I did my first "real" flight in my new FFX 727. The trip was IFR flight plan, Pensacola Regl. to Atlanta Hartsfield (home of Delta). MAN, that panel has got some gauges I tell you what! The overhead panels, etc. it takes quite a bit to fly her.......and that's fun to me :-) It was basically a transport flight-no passengers were involved. Just a simple flight to get routine maintence done and possibly the new wavy gravy Delta scheem on her (by the way, if anyone knows where one is for the FFX 722, let me know!).

On with the flight!

Lookin' out the wing at KPNS about ready to take-off.

Rotating at Pensacola, with a type of flight ahead of me I've never done in FS, heck I've never even filed an IFR plan ;-)

Descending into Hartsfield rwy 09L. I was cleared for an immediate landing, as there was 3 others lined up behind me. Geez, it's 9 in the morning!!! So I had to swing her in

That's a standard departure and roll-out......they come pretty close to hitting real life!!

Thanks for the link vargas37!!!!! Awesome!! I looked at Avsim, Flightsim.com, and Yahoo!, but never found any..... guess I used the wrong key words.

Thanks guys!
Kyle

Have u ever seen a real 727-200 roll-out, im not talking about the rotate but about the roll-out, its very unrealistic, it really looks like it hits the ground.

Well.......Okay so I was a LITTLE slow....:-lol They still come close when I watch them........I still had a good 5 feet or so beneath my tail skid and the ground......enough for a person to walk under.

The again the wing I beleive has to high of an incidence. It's like .9 degrees when it should be more like 2. But.........that was a standard approach for the weight......135kts Vref.

LOL! 9 degrees on roll out is way to much then a standard flare... lol 1 more pointout ( not trying to be meen just trying help so u can improve ) the landing gear looks like its collapsing hehe...

Right back and tell me what you think...:-lol

HAHA :-LOL No, I meant .9 not 9!! Look in this screen of the aircraft.cfg
......wing incidence.......see it? It's 1.0 (okay, I was a little off..said .9) If it were about 2, the wing would fly with one more degree of AOA mor to it's releative picth......there fore I wouldnt had to have flared so steep :-).....When I approach at ,say for that flight, the recommended 135kt Vref, the wing is AWFULLY dang steep when looking out......I need to adjust that ofr the airfile......who knows maybe I'll upload it as a fix and update for it!
