I just have one public thing to say...
*everyone listen up...I understand how some people use the blur tool to make it look like the aircraft is pushing a great amount of heat out of the jet, but...sometimes people stretch the trooth. I mean, I have seen people do it so much, it looke dlike the plane was going to melt. Correct me if I am wrong, but an aircraft only puts out that amount of extreme heat on taxi and takeoff. Ussualy, it is at low enough speeds in the air and at landings that it would do that. So, this is just my opinion, you may agree or disagree. I have no problems with what you guys are doing, lets just be a lil more realistic hear .

When done properly, it's a cool effect. But I agree, some people do carry it to extremes.

I had included a sunburst off the engine, plus some blur for the full. Power was at 100%

nah Chris thats a beautiful shot...and I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but its not necessary to create a whole thread to make a point about not liking a certain style.

I agree with Matt...so venom, you show us a picture taken "the bad way", i'm sure that person did his/her best and he or she thinks is nice..you think not? ok, show us a picture taken by you, with the cool effects done "right" :-roll

Is this really worthy of a thread ? Because some people can create a more stylish image with an edit than others ?

My 2 c worth. If people edit a shot, people edit a shot. I still have the choice to view the thread/images or not. It's not like viewing them is compulsary !
