Thank you. That's just what a PIII 1GHz can do for you! ;-) :-lol

OK, honestly spoken for taking pictures only I switch on Anti-Aliasing from inside the sim. (I can't use AA while flying normally because FPS would drop beneath 8.)

I use an old nVIDIA GeForce2 MX (32 MB) with the 30.82 drivers (default settings) at 1024x768x32 without any further tweaks. I have 512 MB RAM and I still use WinME (and NO, there were never any BSDs or other problems on MY machine! ;-) ).

To catch the screens I use "ScreenShooter" which also does the resizeing for me.

ok wonderful...

Thanxs for explaining mate...One last thing....you just mentioned that u activate anti aliasing (whatever that is) within the sim.....what does this thing do? I mean if its on or off...what effect it gives???

And friend...I am not aware of terms like AAA or FPS falling beneath 8 ;)

Nice day!

Aliasing is the jagged edges on curves and diagonal lines in a bitmap image. Anti-aliasing is the process of smoothing out those jaggies. Font smoothing software provides anti-aliasing for on-screen type. Graphics software programs have options for anti-aliasing text and graphics. Enlarging a bitmap image accentuates the effect of aliasing.

Left side of image shows aliasing or jaggies in the curved lines. Right side of image shows the effect of anti-aliasing to smooth out the jagged edges.

I wrote "AA" because I didn't want to type "Anti-Aliasing" again.

"FPS" stands for "Frames Per Second". That's how many pictures appear on your tiny little screen during a one seconds' period.
