This new version shows four different paint schemes sported by aircraft used by various organizations for fire fighting role. The model, made with FSDS2.24 from Abacus, features a complete redesign of animations now perfectly compatible with FS2004. This is a true amphibious plane with realistic effects in water. Their success served as an inspiration for Southwest Airlines. This aircraft represents what PSA may have flown had they survived into the 2000's. Slightly longer than Boeing's pioneer 707-120, the 914s would've been an ideal replacement for PSA's earlier 727-214s and MD-82 aircraft on high density routes between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
