FS98/CFS Bleriot Type XI 1913, Chilean Army Air Corps - Aviacion Militar de Chile. The Chilean Army Air Corps (late Chilean Air force) operated the Bleriot Type XI since 1913, mainly in training, reconnaissance and liaison duties. This aircraft was the first plane of the new Escuela Aeronautica Militar (Army Aeronautical School, now called Escuela de Aviacion Capitan Avalos), created in 1913. A replica of a Bleriot Type XI similar to that 1913's plane, is preserved in the aeronautical museum at Cerrillos. Flight model by Dennis Simanaitis.
