ves, a resident of
Montreal, Canada, is President Emeritus
of Noble Air.
He joined this virtual airline in October 1994, only four months
after it was created. In November 1995, he was appointed Hub Captain
for the Boston Hub. He has presided over the tremendous expansion of
Noble Air to its present 22 hubs and a management staff of 48 people.He is a member of the Hall of Fame for scenery design with his work for Boston Logan International Airport for FS5.1
In the real world, Yves is a professionnal banker, actively involved in business banking and financing, with emphasis on lending to the new economy, i.e. technology, computer software & hardware, communications & film production.
His interest in aviation goes back to his teens, when like most of us he built plastic models, but his were exclusively of civilian airliners, including the DC4, Viscount, Electra, DC8 & B707. As an engineering student, he spend three summers working as quality control and surveyer for the Canadian Government on airports in the Province of Quebec. He participated in the building of runway 06L/24R in Montreal Dorval Airport.
Although not a computer specialist, Yves professes to be an educated computer user; one would say a power user.
