have been a techno-nerd since I was a child. In 1956 I got an
electric train for Christmas (I was 8) and enjoyed the logic of DC
current flow and the joy of a simulated railroad as I sprawled the
layout of switches and tracks all over our basement. As a college
student at Kansas University, I was a keyboard musician with an "on
the road" Motown band. It was the love of the equipment and the
process of working out an arrangement with keyboard and horns not
passion for music that "Kept Me Hangin On". Designing sim aircraft
allows me to satisfy my technical and artistic sides simultaneously.I, like other flight sim aircraft producers, started building 1/72 scale models during the '60's and '70's. I built and collected a number of "Battle of Britain" aircraft. One of my Delta Chi fraternity brothers was a member of the Wallace family from Cessna in Wichita, which explains the number of Cessnas that I have simmed.
Currently, I am the Human Resources Manager for Fairmont-Zarda Dairy in Kansas City Missouri. We bottle 23 million pounds of milk each month for supermarkets and institutions. I live on a small 14 acre "farm" and have a small orchard, and last but not least, I am a bee keeper. I love to watch them takeoff and land at the hive runway. Talk about a low stall speed.
