am 37 years old, married and with a 3 year old son. I was born in
Cuba and left when I was 3 years old to live in Venezuela. When I
was 12, I came with my mother to the US.Ever since I was a child I was fascinated with airplanes, especially commercial aircraft, enjoyed building plastic models of airplanes and wanted to be a pilot. I also had some talent for painting and drawing. None of these things actually came to influence in my career choice, as I went to optometry school at Southern California College of Optometry, and for the last 12 years have been practicing optometry in Miami, Florida.
My hobbies are sports, especially basketball and tennis, and I love watching professional football and am an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. I also love travelling to other countries and have been to Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Tahiti, etc. My favorite and most beautiful destination I've ever been to is Bora Bora, one of the Tahiti islands.
One of the most recent hobbies acquired is flight simulation. I
bought my first computer in Feb of 94 , before that I didn't even
know what Windows was, then immediately got hooked on FS5. I also
used and enjoyed extensively ATP because of the airliners and the
traffic control. But when FSFS came along, things changed, now I was
in heaven , being able to fly the airliners I loved. I started
experimenting with AF5 by adding edge slats and spoilers to the
default 747. From there, I went on to build the Viasa DC10 which was
the aircraft I used to fly when I was a teenage boy and went to visit
my father in Venezuela. After that, I made the MD11 of several
airlines, and now I'm working on the Boeing 767-300 Collection which
will be released very soon.
A friend on Compuserve, Pat Zoffreo, and I have joined forces to
create this very realistic collection which will include Pat's
expertise in creating real life flight adventures along with my
aircrafts. My future plans are to continue creating stunningly
realistic jetliners and enjoying this wonderful hobby.
