Ron Blevins

I got into scenery design in early 1997. My original purpose was to design an accurate rendition of my favorite state -- Colorado. The Microsoft FS 5.1 default scenery for the state had mountains towering over 16,000 feet (not accurate) and no mountain airports other than Telluride. At the same time I wanted to have all airports in the state available. After all, "variety is the spice of life." From there my work has continued to expand toward the final goal of including all western US from Texas to the Canadian border back to California.

RSB Productions is the company name but offers products and services beyond just Flight Simulator material. The company has been in existence since early 1990. We strive to offer our customers the best in products and service for a reasonable price.

My bio is different in many ways. I'm 36 years of age and have lived in Texas most of his life. My wife, Cindy, is a nationally recognized middle school reading teacher. We've been happily married now for 13 years and currently have no kids. I design scenery as a part-time effort. My professional life involves many trades. I have a doctorate in piano performance and with that very specialized education I am both a pianist and composer as well as a piano teacher and tuner. In addition, I have acquired some extensive business skills. I'm a money manager and investment advisor for a variety of clients. But my primary source of satisfaction is my work in ministry. For the past 17 years I have professionally served a variety of Southern Baptist churches in both music and administration. The merging of musicianship and business skills may seem like an unlikely combination but works well for me. Serving the Lord through ministry is my highest calling and remains my most loyal passion.

My other hobbies include flying my 182, traveling, snow skiing, photography, shooting sports, steam trains, and Colorado history.
