I am one of those people that have too many ideas and not enough
time to realise them all. Having formal Electrical Engineering papers
and a CPL Multi Instrument Rating I would say that I have enough to keep
me busy, but no, I added computers to my list of skills however I have
never received any formal training whatsoever.Sometimes this can be a plus because I dare to dream and expect the impossible. I start projects were any sensible computer literate programmer can see from a mile away that it won't work. And you know what? Sometimes it does work! Okay I leave a trail of unfinished projects behind me but I also have some real gems to my name in the software industry. Some are just concepts that have been sold and some are finished applications.
Being between Airline jobs at the moment I have found time to improve my programming skills and the fact that I currently work with some very capable Delphi guroes teaches me a lot. It is not surprising that I end up writing some kind of aviation application with my background.
