WHO'S WHO

Marco Spada

I am an architect, 53 years old and work in Rome, Italy.

I had my first computer in 1981, a Commodore 64 that I used for my work, with a simple word processor and "Multiplan" spreadsheet (do you remember ? :-)) and one day, in a software shop I found a floppy disk with written: "Flight Simulator".

In these 20 years, from FS1, FS2, FS4, FS5, FS5.1, FSFW95, FS98, to FS2000 and now FS2002 I have ever flown on my computers, from the old C64, to PC IBM, various 386 and 486 and now Pentium 4, with many friends of PVI association (Virtual Pilots of Italy) www.pvi.it and Xplaneitalia team www.x-plane.it.

When I fly, my interest is for the cockpit instruments, more important than liveries and external views, so I came to design panels. I am not able to program in "C" language to make custom gauges, so I prefer to use default or third party gauges and design my panels with Photoshop as possible similar to real layout, and easy to use. Now I design panels for Microsoft Flight Simulator and for X-Plane, a wonderful simulator.
