WHO'S WHO

Mike Hill

G'day. I've been involved with aviation all my life one way or another, started flying in 1955 on DH-82s, did a bit on Proctors and Ansons etc. Gave it away for a while, then started back in the the mid 60s. Worked for Connellans/Conair on a large variety of aircraft, mainly on Queen Airs, E.50 Twin Bonanzas and Herons (with a bit of flying for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Barons and Travelairs). Ended up with a little over 4,000 hours in command.

In the mid 70s I got involved in labor relations negotiating pilot's contracts and moved to TAA/Australian Airlines in 1978 as the company's labor relations advocate. Since 1989 I've been a Stamp Dealer, specializing in Germany and British Commonwealth classical material. I liked travelling, and because of my interest in the Civil War (and aircraft) I've spent a lot of time in the US.

I used to do a lot of IPMS modelling, mainly in 1/72 scale, but since I started with FS back in the Apple days I haven't looked back. I'm now mainly involved with aircraft design (military), though I still like letting down through the clag for an ILS. You can catch up with my articles in `Computer Pilot' for detailed information on FSFS.

I welcome your comments and letters and always reply to my E-Mail. If you think I can help you with any aspect of aircraft design please contact me on CompuServe at 100247,152.
