in Maitland NSW Australia in 1959, I have always been fascinated by
flight. These days the closest I can get to a real aircraft is a TV
screen or on a computer. Flightsim entered my life about 10 years
ago when my father bought his first PC and started using FS4...a
few modifications of an experimental nature were made to aircraft
with Mallard's AAF, but I couldn't get a handle on Flight shop for FS4.FS5 came along and then FSFW95 and FS98, it wasn't until I found time to experiment with Flight Shop for FS5 that I found I could actually get something worthwhile out of it, and the first few aircraft I produced came with a lot of help and encouragement from Mike Hill.
My main interest in FS is the WW2 period and the 50's and 60's straight winged military jets, although there are a few others about which grab my interest from time to time.
My other interests/hobbies include plastic kit building (1/35th scale Armour and 1/48th scale Aircraft), Guitar twanging and Theatrical Lighting/production.
