a 37 year old flight simulation enthusiast from Fort Thomas,
Kentucky. I live just across the Ohio River from downtown Cincinnati.
I've been experimenting with Microsoft Flight Simulator for
approximately 5 years.In 1996, my brother, an employee with Delta Airlines, Inc., and I came up with the concept of building a fully enclosed and functional flight simulator. After much thought and the arrival of 3Dfx and other hardware components, we set out to do just that. We chose to model the simulator off of the Boeing 757.
It's been a fascinating hobby and I've come to meet a lot of very nice people in the flight sim community. FlightSim.Com as been an endless source of information in helping us to achieve our quest. I would encourage anyone that shares the same interest. Flying FS98 in a fully enclosed cockpit, looking out a 6 foot window, is something every sim lover should experience!
