name is Joachim Kroll. I was born in Berlin and live now in the
southern part of Germany. I haven't any flying education but I'm
fascinated by the technical aspects of aviation - although I feel bad
at any time I enter a plane in real life. I like watching aircraft but
if I'm inside, there's nothing nicer than to be back on ground.I had my first flight simming experiences at Siemens (a big German electronics supplier), where I was employed for practical training during my studies. I flew there at every lunch break together with a colleage. Very soon I installed Flightsim on my PC at home.
Perhaps since I have a musical education as well, I do not only take care of the visual aspects of a flight but also of an appropriate audible environment. Therefore I've made some adventures which add realistic ATC messages. My approach is, that any automatically generated adventures are boring after a short time. So my adventures are manually coded and the recordings of ATC messages are made with great care. By the way: hearing and recording of ATC radio in Germany is not allowed for people without a radio certificate. So I had to record all radio messages with 20 speakers and more. That was only possible with the help from people of the flight simming community. Meanwhile some other adventure developers joined me and make adventures in the same style.
