My name is Chris Jephcott and I am 15 years old. I was born on the
6th April 1984 at Sandwell Hospital at Birmingham, UK. My first home
I can remember was at Sutton Coldfield, in the Northish area of
Birmingham. This is possibly where I got my interest of aviation
from, as the house was directly beneath the flight path into runway
15. The first plane I saw, and can still remember was Concorde on
finals, about 1000 feet above me!However, I was to move to Oundle in 1987. That is where I have remained until 3 years ago when I moved to Polebrook, a village 2 miles to the East of Oundle. Still, I am under the RAF flight path now and I have seen many interesting planes.
It was not until 1993 that I took my first trip in a plane, Britten Norman Tri-islander, from Jersey to Alderney. The trip only took about 5 minutes, but it captivated me for life!
In 1997, I started taking my flying lessons, when I was 14 years old. I fly from Sibson Airfield near to Peterborough, onboard a Cessna 152 with the registration G-BSFP. I have now got 11.5 hours in my logbook, but with any luck I will be going solo when I am 16 and old enough!
I specialise in aircraft repaints, however, I have made my B-52 file available from this web site and I have made sound files and dynamic scenery. I started my career in design with a dynamic scenery for Greg Simpson's Birmingham Airport.
I got my first copy of FS in 1990, and since then have been hooked. On FS98 alone, I have around 2000 hours.
I go to Oundle School, in Oundle and I am studying for 10 GCSE exams this year and I hope to one day be an airline captain for British Airways.
