traces his enthusiasm for aviation to his father - a gunner in
the P-61 Black Widow during WWII. As Paul tells it: "making
aircraft for Flight Simulator is much like my childhood hobby of
model airplane building - except these are flyable".Paul started his flying career by making 50 or so aircraft for Flight Sim 4.0 and subsequently enlisted as a beta tester for BAO's Flight Shop. Since that time he's had several commercial releases - FS Flight Deck, Pilot's Toybox, Virtual Squadron: Thunderbirds and Modern Fighters.
Paul has a PhD in Earth Sciences from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego and teaches physics, chemistry and astronomy at a small K-12 school in Sun Valley, Idaho. His hobbies also include skiing, biking and listening to and playing classical music on the oboe.
