WHO'S WHO

Alfred Grech

In 1989 I bought FS3 for my 12 year old son but after an hour, he gave up on it and went back to his hockey and baseball. I started using it and never left it since - well, of course, kept upgrading to newer versions.

It became a bore not having so many areas to fly to so I decided to build sceneries to have more airports available. Some of these sceneries were built for FS4 and eventually when FS5.0 was released decided to start building large areas. Started with my own homeland, Malta, kept crawling up to Sicily and Italy, then built France, Switzerland and Spain, the U.K., built the Canary Islands and having access to various charts, I built all of southern Canada from coast to coast and also included the State of Maine in my Can-Est package.

The enormous Pacific Ocean was a huge void in the FS World so I decided to build all the Pacific Islands which made a trip around the world possible.

I wanted to help "Cover the whole FS World" and with a bit of help from various simmers I was able to cover several million square miles and will cover more if I get more help and cooperation from the simmers. So far I released all my sceneries as freeware and they are freeware for everyone else except for me!!! Charts and airports supplements are not cheap so with your help I will be able to cover even more areas till all the globe is ours to enjoy.

An updated list of all my sceneries as of December 1996 can be seen in my doc that accompanied PACIFIC1.ZIP scenery package.

To all, happy flying!

Warm regards,

Alfred Grech
