have been employed in the computing environment since 1983 and have
developed a considerable history in the management and monitoring of a
multitude of projects and Information Technology sections over various
time periods. The extensive and comprehensive skills I have developed
in client services, human resource, project and financial management,
application development, training methodologies, software development ,
team leadership and business solutions assist me in the administrative
control and effective monitoring and management of projects of any
nature.I am currently employed as the Senior Manager of the Information Technology Section providing global IT management of IDP Education Australia - a central office, national offices and 30 international offices.
That's the end of the sales pitch. In relation to flight simulators I have been hobby flying since the release of the very first MS Flight Sim. I developed Control 98 initially to meet my needs to manage the volume of panels that became available in FS98 but it soon grew out of control - typical home based application. Suddenly I discovered that it had consumed hundreds of hours and was a robust enough application to give away to a few FS associates - after their input and suggestions I released it as freeware Version 2.0 to the Internet. This was an exceptional learning curve for me on publishing software on the net. The product is up to version 5.30 at home now and will no doubt continue to develop to meet the many needs of us all.
The biggest plus in my life is that I have a wonderful wife who shares my hobby of computing to the extent that I have to maintain a 5 system network at home to provide the resources we like to tinker with.
