WHO'S WHO

Dennis Wasnich

Dennis Wasnich is the Quality Manager of Robinair Division of SPx Corporation in Montpelier, Ohio (where air-conditioning service tools are manufactured--including the world's best recovery/recycling equipment to protect the ozone and refrigeration evacuation vacuum pumps). He attended college at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan during the 1960's, is now 46 years old, married for 26 years with two (grown) sons, and isn't a pilot, although he enjoys flying (with other folks, of course) in the real world, and certainly enjoys flying the Flight Simulator and making planes in the Flight Shop.

He started with flight simulators over 10 years ago with the old BAO flight simulator for his old Commodore 64 computer (you want to talk about jerky action and sketchy scenery?). He continues to create simulations with FSFS with an addict-like frequency--his planes for FSFS number above 60! One of his most (in)famous creations is the Goodyear Blimp which he says he gets the most feedback from users about to this day even though it is nowhere near his best simulation. The best, he says, is his Cessna Citation Excel business jet simulation.

His other interests are Stereo/Hi-Fi, Chess, Science Fiction, College Football, Computers (of course!), satellite television, anything else "hi-tech", and just for strangeness, "para-normal" subjects. When his friends accuse him of being slightly "different," he tells them, "I'm the second weirdest person I know!" (leaving them to figure out who's number 1). He has opinions on just about any subject (just ask him!), and will usually explain the reasoning behind those thoughts.
