Dean Hall
Dean MH Hall, a New Zealander, was the founding Chairman of the Unity
Virtual Aviation Community in 2001. A passionate mountaineer, Dean has
climbed extensively in the Southern Alps of New Zealand and is a
well-known member of the New Zealand Alpine Club. His dramatic ascent of
"Scissors" in bitter winter weather, where he sustained frostbite to his
fingers, was published in "The Climber".Graduating Otago University with a Bachelor of Commerce, his interest in flying has taken him into the Royal New Zealand Airforce as an Officer where he is currently under training. During his time in the Airforce he has flown in the CT-4E Airtrainer and the Aermacchi MB399 CB.
Dean bought online Databasing into mainstream Virtual Airlines with SouthEast Airlines, then later into the massively successful Unity Virtual Aviation Community. Many consider Dean the 'father' of Databasing and automation in the Virtual Aviation industry. He is a regular Editorialist at Fspilot.
Currently, Dean trying his hand at writing a book about his life climbing which is to include his extensive collection of mountaineering photos.
