David Boyd

Boyd was born in Winnipeg Manitoba in 1983. His ambition to be
a commercial pilot started at an early age. He became involved in
computer flight simulation five years ago and has been virtual flying
"heavies" of diverse types in real time simulation using established
procedures on international routes in accordance with ATS control.David founded a scenery group (Real Canada Scenery Group) and has produced enhanced scenery for Winnipeg International Airport and others in Manitoba. He is presently enrolled in Private Pilot training and expects to solo very soon. He also maintains an 80+ average in school examinations, and plays clarinet in the senior school band.
David enjoys soccer and water skiing and golfs with scores in the eighties. He comes from a family of aviators, including his father who is Senior controller and Supervisor, Enroute Control, NavCanada, Winnipeg Centre, Winnipeg International Airport and held full Instructor and commercial pilot qualifications by age 21 years. He' presently part owner of Beech Musketeer. David's grandfather is also a private pilot.
