I have been actively involved in aviation since my college days, but
the first time I ever personally flew an airplane was not until my
first training flight in the T-34C. I was a pilot in the U.S. Navy for
almost 10 years. I primarily flew the C-2A Greyhound (Carrier Onboard
Delivery) aircraft in the Pacific, and the T-45A Goshawk as a Flight
Instructor.Since 2000, I have been working as a First Officer in the Canadair Regional Jet for Comair airlines and live in the Cincinnati area. In my off-time, I continue to work on new airport scenery for Flight Simulator.
My first serious attempts at Flight Simulator scenery design started in the spring of 1997. I often felt that the only things lacking in FS and associated add-on products were detailed airports, at least for simulating flight from an airline or commercial perspective. I went about to create, to the best of my abilities, airports with enough accuracy to the real thing as possible.
I have centered my designs around Florida airfields, a geographic area I am most familiar with, as well as several major airports in the rest of the USA. Although Chicago is my most popular design, Orlando and Tampa are my favorites. As Flight Simulator continues to advance, I strive to make the best efforts to improve my skills as well. I hope my designs offer great entertainment to the Flight Simulation world and that I can continue to provide new and ever improving scenery for everyone to enjoy.
