Visiting Fanstock 2001

Here are the pictures from the first evening, and the next day of Fanstock. Be sure to see the FS2002 Hands-On Story. Thanks again to the entire FS2002 team, and the Train-Sim people, for having us. It was a great time had by all and a great time to meet the new "kinder, friendlier" Microsoft!
Looking south to the famous city, as my 757 lined up for the 27s at KORH. Flightsim, Flightsim and Train-Sim. That's Kevin, Ken and Darryl. Larry, Darryl and Darryl...??
Bill Gates' home on the waterfront. It's so big, much of it goes into the woods and up the hillside in the back. We were so close, at times you could actually see furniture inside. He was no where to be seen. This building is where dreams are made from. You'll find out soon enough!
Tom Allensworth of Avsim and Jeff Smith of MicroWINGS yuck it up. Katy Pluta of Simflight She stayed inside the boat to finish dinner, while others rushed to see Bill Gates' house.
The two Train-Sim guys (fan sites) eat and talk trains! Hal Bryan (Test Lead for FS2002) and Ken Lavering have an open discussion with us flightsimmers.
Jeff begs Ken for a copy now. Naw. Seriously, they were talking about the yellow soup Microsoft was serving us. The whole gang from FS2002. Just a great group of guys that are really excited about what they've created, and they are 100% dedicated to building all of us, one outstanding simulation that has already put all previous versions of FS to shame. A big round of applause please! Thanks all.
