FS2002 - A Pictorial Preview - Fanstock 2001

Here are the pictures to go with the complete story found here. Please note all pictures were snapped with a digital camera at the screen as I was flying FS2002. Now, I have since found out the blurriness is caused by the motion and I should have for once allowed myself to slew or pause, to capture the moment. Unfortunately I did not do that, and many of the photos are blurred. Maybe my hands were shaking a bit too from all the excitement! So, please enjoy these unedited, "live" pictures if you will. In some ways, the blur makes them look more like a real action photo. Rest assured, all still in-game screenshots you see are as crisp and real as it really was. But, once again, here are the shots off the monitors. Some show frame rates too. Exclusive press screenshots will be posted in the days to come.

The Photos

Aspen, Colorado. Aspen, Colorado.
Burbank, Ca. Burbank, Ca.
Eagle, Colorado touchdown! From the side of the runway, at EGE.
Uugggh ooooo... Damage is riding into the hundreds of thousands now....
Turbo Caravan over Everett, Washington. Note the great forest and water. Aaaahhhhh! The fresh air at Innsbruck, Austria. What a scene.
Adding clouds does not lower frame rates at all. North of the New Hampshire lakes region. View is set to maximum visibility and again, no frame rate drop.
The "dirty", flight school version of the 172 over Norwood, MA. Sitting on 17 at Norwood, looking southward.
Open door on the Caravan, letting in the fresh air. Yes, you can open aircraft doors now with the click of a mouse! Oregon scenery.
Look at that water! Perfect touchdown near Seattle. Again, frame rates are as liquid during a splashdown as the water is wet, itself! After coming to a stop you can expect to bob up and down a bit, depending on wave action.
