DEA Justice From Above

Do you like Extreme flying?

Do you like a Challenge?

Do you like Adventures?

Do you like to Race against the clock?

If you answered "yes" to these questions then you will like DEA Justice From Above! DEA Justice From Above is created by SimuTech Corp. and is published and distributed by Head Games Publishing. DEA is one part of the Extreme Flight Triple Pack which also includes Terror In The Air and Rescue Air 911.

Introduction

Your code name is HOUDINI.

A vacation and a visit to my old friend Chief of THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. That's all I wanted, but I should have known there was going to be TROUBLE. Could I have heard my friend right? The International Drug Lord, Quong has returned to try and capture the city. Five DEA agents have escaped...my mission is rescue the DEA agents and bomb Quong's headquarters. But not to my surprise Quong has fortified his headquarters with anti-aircraft guns. If I accept this mission my work will be cut out for me and the existence of world peace will be depending on me.

Overview

Now that I have accepted this mission, the DEA agents are waiting at five different locations throughout the area. The Chief of Operations has the locator frequencies for each of the five agents. I have only minutes to rescue these agents so I am flying against the clock. While picking up the agents, one will give the location of Quong's headquarters. To complete the mission I must bomb Quong's headquarters. After picking up the last agent I can also bomb a secondary target which will give me more time to locate the escape airport and board the Concorde. Now if I fail this mission Quong and his army will be in control and the world will be doomed!

Features

Bombing Practice: An additional feature of the program is an adventure for bombing practice. There you can improve on your bombing skills.

Anti-Aircraft guns: Anti-Aircraft guns are located throughout the adventure that can disable and bring your aircraft down.

Adventure built around FSFW95 or FS98: Because the adventure is built around Microsoft Flight Simulator you can chose any of the aircraft you have installed to rescue the DEA agents and bomb Quong's headquarters.

Scenery: While flying through Microsoft's default scenery SimuTech's designers have added unique scenery objects throughout the adventure.

Scenario

There are three scenarios designed for the DEA adventure, set in San Francisco, Tokyo and in the Jungle Confrontation. Each scenario has multiple playing levels. Each time the mission is the same: rescue the DEA agents and save the world from Quong and the drug lords. The scenario is randomly simulated and conditions are constantly changing so you rarely fly the same exact mission twice.

Conclusions

With the adventure capability of Microsoft's Flight Simulator any number of adventures can be developed. I did not encounter any problems with the program itself, all features worked as advertised. The program installs and uninstalls easily. The monologue programmed in to the DEA adventure is great and timely whereas in some simulators instructions and directions can be off and not in sync with the simulation.

While becoming familiar with the adventure, half the fun was trying to complete the mission while flying against the clock. The other half of the fun was developing an aircraft that would be suitable for flying and completing the MISSION. So like I mentioned earlier if you like:

Extreme Flying
Challenges
Adventures
Racing against the Clock

Then you will like DEA Justice From Above!
