Great Lakes Express Expands to Milwaukee
Great Lakes Express, a regional airline based out of Cleveland Ohio has expanded operations to General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee Wisconsin (KMKE). Our airline serves the Midwest region of the United States focusing primarily on the states surrounding the Great Lakes. From Milwaukee GLE will serve Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and two destinations in Canada. Pilots can visit www.gleairlines.com for more information on our expansion into Milwaukee.
Great Lakes Express focuses on connecting smaller regional airports rather than just serving the large "MEGA" airports. Our airline operates a small fleet of regional aircraft including the Beech 1900D, Embraer 120, Saab 340, Embraer 135, Bobardier CRJ200 and soon to be released the CRJ700. Our average flight time for all of our routes is 44 minutes using a point to point system rather than a hub and spoke system. With the equipment we utilize and the routes that we fly pilots are guaranteed quick flights landing at several different airports, not repeating the same destinations. Great Lakes Express offers quality free-ware and pay-ware aircraft and we are looking to continue building the route system and our fleet.
