AirSimmer A320 Basic Edition Press Release

AirSimmer is pleased to announce the launch of their new A320 Basic Edition product for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. The A320 Basic Edition features a fully functional fly-by-wire system, a feature-rich FMGS, an interactive weight and fuel performance calculator, tons of liveries, an immense and functional cockpit and everything you need for a normal operations flight.

"We felt that during development it was necessary to generate growth in the company to sustain our dream of the ultimate Airbus simulation. At some point it became apparent during development that we had a competitive product, which would serve as a simulator 'lite' for those interested in the Airbus concepts, but not necessarily concerned with every facet of the Airbus systems. By releasing the Basic Edition we are hitting two birds with one stone: we are offering a lite version to those not so interested in the intimate details of the Airbus systems, while remaining extremely competitive, and expediting development of the much-awaited Advanced version.

Although initially we intended to release Basic when it was already completely bug-free, the pressures of the current economic crisis have forced us to release the Basic edition once it was airworthy, but before every bug had been fixed. Although I am extremely proud of what the team has accomplished thus far, I want to emphasize that, even though the remaining bugs are minor and by no means critical to product performance, our team will not rest until every single bug is fixed and the AirSimmer Team is completely satisfied with the final state of the AirSimmer A320 Basic Edition. All bugs will be fixed by the end of this year." says Zoya Spivakovsky, CEO of Oyster Bay Media.

AirSimmer is also launching, as part of the product, the Tablet PC, which is a revolutionary way to interact with the simulator and the aircraft and is also a useful tool for getting the latest updates and product news.
