WOW! You guys are impressive! I'm actually shocked and amazed at how many got number 33 correct - and not just the Californians! "The town known for its desolation and isolation (above), took us to Trona, CA, just over a mountain range from Death Valley and home to the only High School in the lower 48 states to play sports on an all dirt field." I would have thought that an island of notoriety in aviation history with a new airport (Number 32) would have been MUCH easier than what is little more than a ghost town in the Mojave Desert. I pulled this one out specifically to be more "off the beaten path." Guess I was wrong on this one! I should have just said "USA" and left it at that. Nice job all of you; I'm sulking off to eat my humble pie now (curse the ever-improving search engines out there).

David Vincent from London writes, "The full size sailing replica on the right may be a clue as to the location of this resort port."
Where in the world were David's photos taken?
