Some users report that web pages load very slowly or seem to load scrolling from left to right. This is a well known problem with Internet Explorer 8 (IE8).
One solution is to switch to a better browser such as Firefox.
If you wish to continue using IE8 the fix is relatively simple in most cases. Look near the lower right corner of the browser window. Do you see a percentage? If it is something other than 100% then that is your problem. Click on the little black triangle next to the percentage and choose 100% from the list. That should solve your problem.
If not, a Google search will show many other complaints about IE8 slowness related to plug-ins and other issues.
